History of the Endowment Fund

Recognition for Donations to Endowment Fund

Structure of the Endowment Fund

Randy, Anne and Kim Aaron started the Friends of Burkburnett Boys & Girls Club Endowment Fund in 2010 with the hopes the fund would grow and provide a continuing source of future revenue for the Burkburnett Boys & Girls Club.

Structure of the Endowment Fund

This is a Nonprofit Fund and is structured in a manner that will allow the Club to begin receiving annual distributions, if needed, once the Fund balance reaches $100,000 and a 3-year fund holding requirement has been met. This 3- year window allows the fund to grow to a level that covers administrative costs of the fund and maximizes annual distributions.

Currently the Burkburnett Boys & Girls Club owns and operates a Thrift Store that provides 45% of its operating income. The profit from the Thrift Store combined with program fees, grants, and donations provide the funding for the Club to operate.

However, programs can be grown and the Club can provide more services and serve more children if more donations are received.
